Panchthar Power Company Limited (PPCL) is a Nepali hydropower company that operates the 14.90 MW Hewa Khola 'A' Hydroelectric Project, a run-of-river scheme located in Phidim Municipality and Hilihang Rural Municipality of Panchthar district, Koshi Province. The company was incorporated on 3 November 2008 as a private limited company and converted to public limited on 9 August 2016. The plant has been in commercial operation since 7 February 2017 and was developed at a cost of approximately NPR 175 million per MW with a debt-equity ratio of about 70:30. The PPA with NEA was originally signed for 12 MW and later upgraded to 14.9 MW. PPCL has been listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (symbol PPCL) since 3 May 2019.
