The company was founded in 2010 and commenced operations in February 2014. Its head office is at Neupane Tower, Tinkune, Kathmandu, while its factory is located at Sunwal, Nawalparasi, around 240 km from Kathmandu. The plant is one of Nepal's larger cement factories producing its own clinker, with the factory spread over about 30 bighas and a limestone mine covering roughly 20 square kilometers.
